Home breeding full of love and passion
Dessi Australian Labradoodle breeding was created out of passion for dogs and the need to have a dog that would be friendly to allergy sufferers and at the same time a great member of the family. Our Australian Labradoodles belong to the group of therapy dogs and are great companions for both adults and children. The Australian Labradoodle is an allergy-friendly dog. Due to very strict rules and strict selection in the organizations associating Australian Labradoodles, the amount of protein in the dogs' epidermis has been minimized, which makes them suitable for people with allergies. This breed is often the last hope for having a dog for allergy sufferers.
In 1989, Wally Conron created Sultan - the first dog of this breed. It was intended to serve as a guide dog for a blind person with severe allergies.
The original Australian Labradoodle (ALD) is not just a Labrador and a Poodle. It is a carefully selected mixture of 6 different breeds, which stabilizes their unique features.
Dessi Kennel tests dogs using the PennHip method. This allows for the assessment of hip joints in 16-week-old puppies with unprecedented precision.
Thanks to the special structure of the hair, these dogs emit almost no characteristic odor, even when their fur is wet after a walk.
Puppies at Dessi undergo early neurological stimulation. Thanks to this, they are braver in the future and have better body immunity.
This breed is famous for its deep eye contact. They can read human emotions incredibly quickly, which makes them brilliant therapists.
Unlike most breeds, ALDs do not shed hair on carpets. Their hair (fleece/wool) grows constantly and only requires regular trimming.
